It does not matter the number of talents that we have but what matters most is the effort we put to invest on the talents. The parable of the talents is very enlightening.
Mathew 25: 14-18:~ 14 “Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. 15 To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. 16 The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more. 17 So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more. 18 But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.
What we see here is that, a person who produces more is also given more responsibilities. The person who doesn’t try at all gets punished. Whatever that person has it is taken away. The consequences can make a person to feel inferior, worthless, small and unable to carry on with responsibilities. The person who has more, more will be given and the one who has less it will be taken away from them and given to the one with more if they do not utilize their talents.
